Victims of
Orissa ,Bengal & AP cyclone
A massive cyclone has hit coastal Orissa,Bengal and parts of
Andhra Pradesh. In the history of Orissa this is indeed one of the worst natural disasters
and is truly a national calamity.
- Several hundred people were feared killed , over 10
million were affected .
- Super cyclone with a velocity of more than 160 miles/hr
battered 10 coastal districts of Orissa for more than eight hours .
- More than 200,000 houses have been destroyed and vast
tracts in the coastal areas submerged .
- Over 5000 people have lost their lives and thousands have been
rendered homeless.
Please respond to the needy people in Orissa, and do your
part. Donations to IDRF are tax exempted in United States, and a receipt will be mailed to
